I met Ashish while working on a project at NIH researching data from patients with brain tumors >15 years ago. Ashish was an uber-brilliant scientist, a terrific informatician and above all a kind human being.

I am heartbroken that my friend and ex-colleague Ashish Sharma passed away early this year after a 3-year battle with Glioblastoma, a severe form of brain tumor.

May his soul rest in peace and that he knows no more pain.
