Air Cmde Pratap & Manju Singh are friends of Ashish’s parents.

We were just shocked and dazed after we got the news of Ashish’s death in Atlanta. It was tragedy of highest degree. A young man going after fighting for recovery. Ashish was a fighter to the core, but he succumbed to the field of his expertise of deadly Brain Cancer.

Ashish’s parents flew to Atlanta and arranged his last rites. No tragedy is so shattering where parents have  to cremate their son.

Ashish was a smart, intelligent gentleman, handsome and enterprising. We met Ashish only once, that too he had come to India to attend his sister’s wedding. We met Ashish for a brief time. He was very friendly and with compassion, a true copy of his Mom and Dad ,Suman and Air Vice Marshal Rajiv Sharma.

As friend of Ashish’s parents we use to wonder how they would managed the gravity of this nasty situation and environment. We attended prayers meeting held in a Gurugran Gurudwara. A very touchy occasion.
