We are close friends of Ashish’s parents, Rajiv & Suman. Our association with the family goes back to 1988 when we were next door neighbors. Ashish was 11 years of age at that time, a calm, well mannered and studious child.

We moved to another city after some time but remained in touch with Rajiv and Suman. We knew Ashish moved to the US after his engineering for higher studies after which he went into research in the field of cancer which was commendable but the irony was he himself was diagnosed with brain cancer. We were deeply saddened when we came to know about it. We could relate to this deadly disease because we lost our daughter to Cancer at the age of 15.
