I am very sorry to hear this sad news about Ashish Sharma. I was not aware of this incident. I certainly remember him. When he was here at LSU, I found him as a friendly, soft-speaking person. He was always willing to help others and made my computer run faster and helped debug my program. After he left LSU, I met him a couple of times. He will be missed a lot.
