Arvind and Madhu Agarwal remember
First time we met Ashish, the son of our Dear friends Suman and Rajiv was just as he had completed his studies in electrical engineering and was planning further studies in computer science and a professional career in the USA.
We were highly impressed with the young man full of zest for life and extremely courteous.
Next we heard that he has changed his field to biomedical informatics to do research on brain cancer. We used to meet him fleetingly during his visit to India but mainly got news about him from Suman. Then suddenly we came to know that he had developed a brain tumor which was a life changing issue. The news came more frequently and we found that in spite of all his problems towards the end of his life he lived to effortlessly and had a great positive influence on people around him.
Death is always painful but death taking away a young precious jewel like him is even more painful. He was a man with a good heart who cared deeply about family and friends.
We shall always cherish our brief but meaningful interaction with him. May God grant eternal rest to his soul.
Madhu and Arvinda.
